Another clutch of Roswell boas!
I heard that the same lady that produced the roswell boa just had a litter drop yesterday. From what I hear more roswells and an albino roswell. Anyone have pics!

I LOVE the one on the left and the one on the right in the first pic. I think overall I like the albino ones a little less than the regular roswells, but they are still amazing!
Re: Another clutch of Roswell boas!
This one is my absolute favorite!! I mean, the Roswells are awesome unto themselves, but these siblings are knock outs too!!
Re: Another clutch of Roswell boas!
Cool looking snakes! That's a new morph right? Congrats!
I think I have to agree with Connie's pick of a favorite... beautiful color on that one's tail! It doesn't need to be a cool new morph to be just gorgeous!
I'd like to hear the story behind this. Want to share, or got a link where I can read about it?

I'm with you...not too peaky and cool square-ish tail...=D
Re: Another clutch of Roswell boas!
Huge congrats!
I also love the look of the sibs.
Re: Another clutch of Roswell boas!
wow Heather, great litter. Sign me up for one of your 'normals' that second one after the roswells has one of the nicest tails I've ever seen.

In early 2007 I purchased a trio of '03 50% Suriname boas het albino...they were produced by Todd Smith and Bryan Wayne from breeding a pure Suriname import x Columbian Kahl albino...
The male bred both females, and the smaller one took and gave birth in September 2007...there was one live perfectly striped baby, and two stillborn siblings just like him...
I named them Roswell boas...this is the 2007 male...

I bred the same male to the larger female in the trio last fall...hoping she might have the same gene as her sister...and she sure did...:D
I now know it's a definite genetic mutation, what remains to be seen is if it is codominant, recessive, or?
Re: Another clutch of Roswell boas!
God. I am sooo envious! Those snakes are breathtakin, even the "non-roswells" are phenomenal. You are in Long Beach too!!! Not far at all.
Re: Another clutch of Roswell boas!
Huge congrats to you!
Those Roswells are incredible. Heck even the sibs are incredible.
Just awesome!:gj:
