Caramel Eyes

Is the contrast on a caramel's eyes always this sharp. I mean the upper and lower portions being two colors.

What a purdy pic. I'm so jealous i'm drooling. I want a caramel so bad it hurts.

I've seen that before and also on pastels. My pastel really has that too. I like it.

I have a necklace with a stone like that eye! hehe

Yes it is. We have a proven breeder male, and produced 2.2 Caramels last year. Every one we have has that contrast, and every one that I have looked at has it. I don't know if it's your snake, or your camera, but ours have a blue color to the upper portion. Yours seems to be a bit like a tan color. They have the pretiest eyes of any ball python, in my opinion.

Carmel is one of my favorites on alot of things.... and your snake looks good enough to eat! :P

Yes the top portion of his eye is a tanish color with the lower being darker. I would love to see some pics of your caramels if you can get a good photo Tim. Thanks for the comments, I purchased him from Eric Sandoval (Thanks Eric!).

I'll see what I can do. My male is looking a little rough after a long breeding season. He loves the ladies. But, I should be able to get a few shots of our females.

That is a really nice eye shot Tim, what megapixel is your camera?

I see what you mean by the blueish color. My caramel seems to have it more around the "rim" of the eye.

Thanks for the compliment. I use a Nikon D50 digital SLR. I am not sure what the megapixel is on the camera.
