The Scale-less is a simple recessive trait just but like the Albino is simple recessive...Breed a Scale-less and you get het Scale-less...Breed a Scale-less to a Bloodred and the offspring would be het for Scale-less Bloodred...Breed the offspring together and you have a chance at producing a Bloodred Scale-less...Make any sense?

Wow...didnt know they had scale-less corns....are there phases of these like the bloodred scale-less you are working with?
Re: Couple of the Corns...
makes plenty of sense i took genetics for a while in school so i know about the co-dom, dom, complex recessives and simple recessives but now another question where in the world did they find a snake with a scale-less gene seriously.
Re: Couple of the Corns...
Brian Barczyk of BHB has the only Scale-less Corns that I know of...Brian let me in on the project this year...You have to breed the Scale-less into what ever color or pattern you want to produce...I plan on plugging in my Scale-less to Sriped Snows, Lavenders, Sunglow Motleys, Striped Ghost, Bloodreds, Candy Canes, Butters, Albinos and pretty much every other color out there...LOL...
Re: Couple of the Corns...
Nice! :gj:
It's hard to get my corn to stay still enough to take good pictures. Your's are awesome.
I really like your motley sunglow. (At least I think that what that is)
and the bloodred. :D

PS...any scaleless morph will look sweet! :P
Re: Couple of the Corns...
I got some pics - I'll see if I can dig them up...I don't think Brian put up any pics...It was hush - hush until a few months ago...:)

Thanks...They are quick little suckers...LOL
Re: Couple of the Corns...
Very nice. Your sunglow has a much cleaner motley pattern than mine. I wonder why it is that some motleys are nice and clean and have all circles down the back, and some tend to break up towards the end of the snake? Or does this change with age?
Re: Couple of the Corns...
LOVE the lavender and anery stripe!
Re: Couple of the Corns...
Hi BT,
I'm a brand new member referred here by Snakebites TV :) and I love that show. I'm a one corn snake owner and I noticed you have some beautiful ones. My favorites are the bright ones (orange, red) and the normal, miamis, okeetees and the motley. My corn is normal and I'm sharing some pics with you.
Enjoy! :) (hope this works)

Re: Couple of the Corns...
