Cue goes to the Snake Farm!

So this weekend I went to the Snake Farm(as seen on Dirty Jobs) in New Braunfels, Texas. It's an old place but with recently new ownership. There is tons of variety and some really cool stuff to see. They also have primates, birds and big cats. Hope you enjoy the pictures :nerd:

Yes, they also had rat snakes, coral snakes and water snakes in there aswell :O

That was a great episode. Him cleaning the alligator pond, with his shirt off and jumping on top of another guy. :rofl: The look on his face was priceless on several occassions, but he did a good job hanging in there. :yes:

That was a fun trip! It was really nice getting to see you and Laura and Dusty again! The only downside of the day was that it was so freakin' HOT! Heat musta gone to my head because I didn't even realize you had your camera with you! :O LOL Great pictures! Those retics were really hamming it up, especially the white-phase albino! Love that shot! And love, love love the shot of the King Cobra. He gave me a nice show (no hooding though) while I was waiting for you guys...just an amazing snake!

Judy! It was great to see you too :D It's silly that we all don't get together more often... You need to plan a H-town trip soon! :oops: As for the heat, I was just thankful to be in the AC car for a while... Camping in May=HOT! Even with a beautiful lake to cool you off, your right back to being hot again... Cue completely rescued Dusty & I from the heat of the day! LOL I was cracking up at the Euro... he was like, "YESSS! I LOVE this weather!!!!" Running around, reeking havoc on all the bird seed! :P Good times!!! :banana:

Looks like you had fun! I was actually there over spring break...it's a pretty cool place. Although we kinda had to rush through b/c there was a big storm coming in and all of the outside animals were freaking out :P

I believe those are Patagonian Hares. :) They're from Argentina.
And anyone who doesn't know that the ROUS is a Capybara gets slapped. :D Those are the favorite meal of Anacondas, and fairly sweet critters...just be careful when you feed one a whole ear of corn by hand. :P
