Woop Found a Snake!!!!!!!!

This is actually only my second snake that I have EVER caught!!!!:D

Cool! Doesnt look all that pretty to me but thats a cool catch! The last snake I caught was a baby Southern Black Racer ( I think ? ) and im pretty sure I saw a adult southern black racer in my back yard a couple weeks ago. Man thoes things are FAST!

Are you going to start breeding gophers to feed it? :rofl:

Yeah this guy is pretty quick too, I mean I didnt full speed run to get him, but i jogged ;)

I found Him up at a place where I was Hiking today. It was this awesome natural oil well, that seeps out of the ground, pure black crude oil!

I was bummed I didn't get to make it out to the woods this weekend.....with the Mother's Day and all...We had a great BBQ though ;)

Great catch Pat. The only thine I saw this weekend was an Eastern Hognose. Problem was, it was a roadkill. I have been searching for one for awhile, and was sad that I had to find my first one in this state of being.

Thanx Money! I saw a rattlesnake as roadkill when I was up there, it was sad :(

Cool snake, but a litte bit of advice. In most states, it is illegal to remove native species from their environment.

Fish and wildlife have quotas for the Reptilia family. As long as you have a fishing permit, you can have X amount.

edit, so the amount is 2 unluss otherwise specified.

That is an interesting compilation of rules for native species.
