I was wondering what everyones job is?


During the summer I am a full time lifeguard, which runs march through september.

At the moment I'm mostly doing machinery design but I am just starting to get into forensic engineering (expert witness) work as a sideline. I just got the final paperwork on Friday I needed to start :banana: Finally!
I'm going to school part time to become an accident reconstructionist right now, which is really interesting stuff.
This year I'll start taking industrial accident and product liability cases, since that is something I am already familiar with.

Prepress in a print shop during the week; Light education on the aquatic and biological worlds on weekends. (I host birthday parties and overnights for kids at the local public aquarium!)

I'm a junior in college studying Chemical Engineering and Paper Science.

I take :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: from people on a daily basis. That's my job.

I am under appreciated by my bosses, and given a hard time by customers. Seems that about sums it up. -lol- Oh, I also clean the poop of countless birds. Forgot about that one.

Is "Professional :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r:-handler" a job title? Because I think that's what I am. :(

Buyer Analyst

I was a single mom with 3 kids for years. Lived in remote northern Cali and homesteaded.
Been with the old hubby for 18 years now, added a kid, and we are living the high life in Bend, Oregon- bleck- for another two years. My 16 yo needs to finish up high school and I need to finish up graduate school in mental health counseling before we can move full time to the ranch we're building.
We'll be doing the self-sufficient ranch and I'll be working with people with Alzheimer's disease and their families and also with the vets coming back to the states and needing help. I reckon I'll be working a lot for barter and that suits me fine :gj:

I'm spoiled, I've never had a job in my life and I'm 20 now.. well I haven't had a real job, I've done a lot of work with peoples horses that I've been paid for, and some office work for my stepdads company but thats all. After I get my associates (veterinary science) I'm cut off though, but my old equine vet already said I could intern for her and I have a lot of contacts in the veterinary world so it shouldn't be too hard for me to find work after that.

I'm a filmmaker and work at a TV station as well-filming and editing.

I don't have a paying job, but I do just about everything. I coach soccer, Daisy leader, help out with Cub Scouts, school volunteer, tutor, cook, maid, dog walker, taxi driver. I just prefer the term domestic goddess. ;) :giggle:

Im an office manager for my parents company and my fiance is a supervisor for them also.

We keep it in the family ;) In fact almost 50% of the company is family some how (married in cousins, dad, mom, exc)


ETA: yeah Staci! I hate kids.. still to this day i cant stand kids!! Of course I love my own but honestly other peoples kids usually drive me crazy :crazy: always said i would NEVER have children, that i was too selfish to even think about it lol... and i ended up with two (;) we did try for them lol)

Well I am a Code Enforcement Officer. I am the one that when the cry babies can't knock on their neighbors door and ask them to cut their grass they call me.

You know its funny....I spent 18 years as a Firefighter until I got hurt. I could walk into someone's house break all their stuff and they would thank me for it. Now if I come to their door they hate me....

Life sure does come full circle....

I'm an electronics Salesman at Sears.

I work at a doggie daycare and boarding facility. Basically I get paid pretty decent money to play with dogs and puppies all day. The only real downside is every now and then I have to break up dog fights and pick up poop.

I work at an assisted living facility as a caregiver. I take care of all the residents (25) in the Memory Care Unit - they have Alzhiemers and other forms of dementia. I love it! I've been doing it full time for a while now but I've decided I wanna stay home with my babies now... They are only little for a little while... I'll still be working there but very part-time -like 1 maybe 2 days a week.

I am a project manager / Structural Engineer specializing in commercial and residential concrete reinforcing for new and existing construction.

So basically I design to with in +/-.5" tolerance and over see the production/delivery/instillation of reinforcing steel in buildings

But you may call me a CAD jocky

Software test engineer at a gaming company and I couldn't be happier :P

I work in Supply Chain, Rail services. BF works as a Welder/Fabricator. (And only 2 minutes from home at that! Spoiled rotten he is, I have to commute... :P)

Operations Coordinator for Remanufactured Product... My company (Seneca Data) has a contract to test/repair all returned Acer computer systems and we resell them as "refurbished." I do a little bit of everything but the majority of it falls under accounting and the rest is warehouse stuff. Acer just bought out Gateway and we are currently working on a contract to get all their returns to come here to be tested/repaired as well.

I work in the Automotive Electronics division (Airbag controllers etc)
I'm also an unpaid taxi driver, decorator, plumber and baby sitter !!

I am a print broker/graphic designer - well thats what puts the food on the table anyway. I'm also a mom which I like a lot more than my "day" job, hehe... In the little spare time that I have I coach cheerleading for my 10 yr old daughter and am designated "football" mom for my sons travel tackle team which my hubby coaches.

Awesome :bow:, I'm a mechanical engineering intern myself. I love the work and I'll be going back to school in the fall to pursue my degree. That forensic engineering stuff sounds like fun! I'll have to check that out :gj:. I just got out of the Army so I'm getting back on my feet, they booted me on a med discharge after 3 years in :( so they took most of my benefits :mad: Oh well I've still got my snake and my girl to keep me happy :D later y'all
