Check to see if you get the Stimulus check
Well if you wondering if you are getting this "special" check and if so when.You can call 1-800-829-0582 hit #462 when asked.They will tell you if you are eligable and when it will be deposited.They can only tell you for direct deposits for now.I get mine tomorrow :banana: :banana: :banana:

If it's direct deposit by the last 2 I'll be getting mine tomorrow as well.

Hmmm, I used that link, entered my social and 2007 return and it told me that I was getting one and how much. I tried calling the number and it told me there was a 20 minute wait to speak to someone.

Anyone else trying the 800 number and having a problem? I get to the point where it tells me my approximate wait time, then I start hearing their hold music... I sit there for about 5 minutes, then the call just drops...

See, according to the schedule, I should be getting mine today, but it's not in my bank account and the website shows no info, which is why I was trying to call... It's a conspiracy I tell ya!!! ;)

Just got off the phone with the IRS and figured I'd post what I found out here, as it may affect others as well.
When I filed my taxes, I used TurboTax online, had my refund direct deposited in my account, and had the preparation fees deducted from my refund (I think this is the key piece to the puzzle). The way this is processed is that your refund is direct deposited to a 3rd party bank (Santa Barbara Bank and Trust), where the fees are deducted and the remainder of the refund amount is then transferred to your personal account. When I spoke to the IRS about the stimulus check, I was advised that because my tax refund was direct deposited into a third party account rather than my personal account, they will not be direct depositing my stimulus check. They said that because the original deposit account was not my personal account, I will be receiving a paper check in the mail, to be mailed by June 2nd...
Anyway, just wanted to share this info in case there are others who filed the way I did and would be wondering why you hadn't received your direct deposit yet...

Yep, my husband and I used H&R Block. Thus, ours won't be mailed until the end of the month. :( Bummer.
