    Hi,

    I think he needs to see a vet as well. :(

    These lists should help you find a local one with any luck;

    List 1.

    List 2.

    And even vets recomended personally by our members.

    keep us posted on how he turns out and best wishes for his swift recovery.

    He looks really dehydrated. Those also look like burns.

    Soak him, put him on newspaper and go to the vet.

    He needs fluids though.

    i just wanted to thank everyone for there help but he didnt make it! he actually died not 30 minutes after i took those pictures. and i dont think it was scale rot nor burns. first off because he shed two days before in my care and as far as the burns he didnt have any when we got him and he couldnt have burnt himself in my care because he didnt have a heat pad!

    The female he was with didn't constrict him, did she? Those looked kind of like bruises on him..

    I would contact the seller and ask why he's so thin and dehydrated.

    I too wonder if he wasn't constricted by his tank-mate.
    A good squeeze could lead to internal bleeding, which could lead to symptoms like dehydration of the body, bruising, and internal bleeding into the belly.
    I'm not experienced with this sort of thing, but I watch CSI :P

    sorry for your loss though...hope you get this figured out.

    Definitely get a Necropsy done by your vet ASAP - keep the body in the fridge. That's the only way you'll know for sure.

    I'm not all up to date on viruses and bacteria... but this looks more like physical trauma than anything biological. Meaning, I don't see the need to take the animal to the vet for a necropsy in case of spreading infection when it was really an overnight thing.

    But, given the little bit of facts we do know, it would be nice just to have peace of mind to take the living one to the vet for a check up. Get the tests done on her to make sure she is ok.
