Re: Super Cinny Super Mojo
i dont think is been done but my guess would be the BEL genes would take out the black and you would maybe get a slightly different looking BEL. but that being said crazy stuff can happen and you might get something you wouldn't expect who knows untill its made?
Re: Super Cinny Super Mojo
They are just now getting to the Lesser black pastels, so I think it will be a while before we get Snow storm( Random name for it lol)

i dunno about the BEL taking over look at what the cinnamon gene does to everything else..... seems to dominate over it.
Re: Super Cinny Super Mojo
Well duh people. Black and white make grey! :P
J/k, all joking aside, I have to agree that the BEL would likely cancel the black. Maybe another long way to make an ivory? Who knows *shrug*

Leucistics are most comparable to albinos in nature, because both conditions are a lack of pigmentation. Since the cinnamon mutation is dependent on pigment, it's unlikely to dominate the BEL gene.
White snakes were once considered the Holy Grail of breeding, but their lack of pigmentation has largely relegated them to a dead-end status when it comes to homozygous (super) combination morphs.

No man! A black snake, with blue eyes!

That would be sick!
Re: Super Cinny Super Mojo
I bet it would just be a white snake, BUT you never know. Who would have thought that pewters looked the way they do based on a cinnamon and pastel. Though if you did produce one, it would be a killer animal to breed with. All the F1 would be, at a minimum, cinnimon/black pastel - lesser/mojave/butter/etc

Good point, while it may not appear different than a BEL (or nominally different, since leucistics technically have "reduced" pigment), it's value as a breeder (being a double-super) would be phenomenal.
Re: Super Cinny Super Mojo
That's what I was thinking. It may be white(I would still want it in my collection!), but man, the snakes it can produce just being bred to a normal.. It's like a Super Pastel, you're going to need one sooner or later to make those higher end morphs.
Re: Super Cinny Super Mojo
Does anyone else see tons of confusion in about a 5 years when you can buy a BEL that is possible het or even possible homozygous for cinnie or any other trait. How stupid is that!

I'm not sure I would consider anything with the ability to produce cinnamon lessers or cinnamon mojaves with 1:1 odds when bred to normal females "stupid" ;)
Re: Super Cinny Super Mojo
I want a blue and white one like in someone's (I forgot who) avatar.
