A few years old or not, I think that person should still be avoided. Knowing that he was planning on bringing his contagious reptile to the Raliegh show were I planned on purchasing really freaks me out.

yeah I definately was worried when I saw he was headed for the Raleigh show, thank goodness he seems to be off the the vendor list. I definately do not want to even attend a show where he could be selling animals with IBD.

He's not the only screwy breeder who KS allows to keep selling ... They Ban good people and keep dirt bags around.... That's the KS way....

Yeah, I almost bought from big daddy's last summer, but luckily did a BOI search. I knew their prices seemed too good to be true. Goes back to the old saying: "quality isn't cheap, and cheap isn't quality".

That is awful!
Someone should be shutting these places down, or reptile rescues.
They try to shut down puppy mills and take abused dogs and cats away from owners... but very rarely you see anyone doing anything about reptiles.
Animal abuse is cruel.. I cant believe that this guy intends on selling these poor reptiles to people. He should be giving them away to people who actually want to take care of them.
People like this irritate me so much... just frustrates me to no end :S

Sadly there are no reptile abuse laws :mad:.Allen thinks he is not doing anything wrong.He has posted many times that he does not have IBD but will NEVER show legite records of test results :mad:.You wait and see he will find out about this thread and will post everyones is just picking on him :rolleyes:

It's funny you say that, I reported a pet shop once a couple years ago and it took six days for animal control to even go look then they tole the owner that he needed to give the reptiles water and left. Yet they want to ban us when they don't even care about us... It drives me :rolleye2: and really :taz: me off

I will provide you with plane tickets, Gas money, Hotel accomodations and spending cash for food and such; If you will just come to my facilities bring your camera and come back here and tell truthfully what you saw. If you are worried about dieseases I will even through in cash for new clothes and shoes. All I ask is that you report the facts of what you see. The only catch is that I will have the local animal enforcement officer here to do a report about what they see on the same day as you. That way the stories will be legit and not just simply your word will stand alone, because it will take a real man to admit being wrong publically. If you really want to know the truth then take me up on this opportunity. But if all you want to do is make slanderous statements about me then continue to do as you wish.

Patrick I have admitted being staged pics. I have never had IBD in any of my snakes. I feed twice weekly. I clean once weekly and then spot clean once more weekly. I hope he takes me up on my offer as well.

Allen you might just get your request but IF i do come down i will make sure i have a few extra friends with me also ;).What is your local animal shelter going to know about IBD? Why dont you post the actual results about the tests done by your college friends either here or fauna? I dont care what someone can say by word of mouth but REAL test results shown will cease alot of your problems If the show negative.

allen, what about the snake, or maybe snakes, I am unsure if it was more than one at this point, that came from you that tested positive for IBD?
What about the vet tests you've claimed to have, have promised to post, yet have never shown evidence of?
Didn't you have a pretty big sell off, or was it die off, a few years ago; right about the time the IBD issue was raised?
Sure, NOW you may have a nice looking facility, but THEN, it was a sewer. I believe you also moved to a new facility since the beginnings of the IBD in your collection. Is this not also true?
Weren't you busted on fauna lying more than a few times? The answer is yes, in case you've forgotten.
I have no problem believing you'll have spotless cages and healthy snakes. You've had years to clean up your act.
The fact remains though, that you DID sell IBD infected snakes. You continued to sell snakes when you KNEW you had IBD in your collection and you lied about it.
Once a liar, never to be trusted.
You are NOT one of the good guys.

That story about his shop made me sick. I saw an ad for a yb that was $50 less than the one I just got from the Barkers......glad I spent that extra $50! I could care less what his shop looks like now. Anyone with that rep I will stay far, far away from. I have a hard time wanting to buy from KS, even though i know they are not all bad. There are enough reputable, well know breeders and smaller time breeders (here on this site) that I would gladly hand over my money to instead.

Ok Allen told me in a pm here that he does not have access to this thread any longer.I told him twice how to get access though.He also wants me to either call him or email him but i declined.I want everything to remain here for everyones eyes to read and know the truth.I am sure everyone agrees with my decision ;)
