    weird that looks nothing like my pastel did when he had scale rot his scales just shriveled up and died and turned a yellowish color.

    Do you know if yours was a bacterial infection?
    Giving this one flagyl really made a big difference.

    I assume "scale rot" is just a generic term for any type of bacterial or viral infection that causes a breakdown in the scales, so maybe different bacterium or virus can cause different signs/symptoms. I've seen both the dry yellow scales and the bloody scales, I am guessing they are different causes. :)
