Finally out, what do you think?
Well he/she is a little small but I'm thinking that's due to the issue I had with the eggs drying out and that it left a large amount of it's yolk in the egg. The sib that looks like this that is still in the egg looks much bigger.

I want, I want!:D What do you think they are, new morphs or a chance that they are a new line of black pastel/ cinny if the female was bred to one in the wild?

I'm still leaning to Ebony. There were two YBs in the clutch and mom is not a YB in any way shape or form. More pics will come afte it sheds.

From a YB clutch, I'd be hoping the other one is the opposite sex.... LOL

Can't wait to see post shed pics.... really cool looking bp. If one were a male I'd be trying to breed him to a YB at some point too. :)

Little one looks sweet! To give you some encouragement, here is a pic of a little runtling I hatched out last year and an update photo from a couple days ago.

    6/25/2007 @ 28 grams

    A few days ago @ 565 grams
    http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...adowM1-022.jpg

This guy is doing great and has a voracious appetite and if I fed him as much as my females he would probably be closer to 800-900 grams.

I really hope your little one does just as well for you, and I cant wait to see the second hatchling.

I do not know who mentioned it but some one said that looked like and ebony. That does look like an Ebony just not as dark but the same shaped head, pattern on the head, and body. No one that I know of has ever been able to duplicate the first one. What was the heat issue that you had? I also heard that the first ebony when it was born the eggs were very warm for some time before it hatched and they thought that the heat may have been what effected its size and pattern since no one had hatched one out since. Interesting. Beautiful animal. Congrats!!!:D :sweeet:

Scott there are plans for these no matter what the sex of them. I'm still hoping one is a male so that there are more posibilities.

My issue was not heat it was the eggs drying, temps stayed steady at 89 in my NS.

Currently all Ebonies that are around (there are a few I'm sure that people aren't talking about) are either imports or CH like these two. I'm not saying without a doubt that I'm 100% sure these are Ebonies. Could they be? Ebonies seem to be the only ones that are close, to this look. Could they be another YB combo? Sure, why not. All I know is that YB, Ivory, Super Stripe breeding are all in the future for these two.

Very nice!! I can't wait till this one sheds and settles in. I have it in it's own tub right now and not with it's sibs. He/she is way too small to be with the others. :( Thank you for the incouraging photos!! :D
