Is this a game, 'cause I don't want to spoil it if it is.

LWC or LWS, depending on which genetic package it possesses.

CH? You can start your own line.

    Nice, Either Way. Very cute.

    Cheers,

I kinda wanted to make it a game, just to have a little fun. The snake pictured is CB. It's from a proven line, by a fairly well known breeder. It is not the most obvious example of the trait, but this is a trait that can and does vary a good bit.

You beat me to it! I'd say very low white Calico. I wasn't sure if you were actually asking or if you knew and wanted us to guess :P I don't know enough to try to guess if you don't know either! ^_^

As a side note, what does LWC and LWS mean?

Shannon, I was a little slow figuring that out myself. Look at your guess and compare it to the first abbreviation.

BTW, All three of you got it right. It's a LWC from the Flora & Fauna line. Thanks!!!

Wow Louis you weren't kidding when you told me a low white. But the best part is they can produce high whites just like pieds.. Congrats on the pick up man >:D

Calicos and Sugars are the same thing. Why would you say, "Calico :) Doesn't look like a sugar"?

I looked it up just to be sure, and in Dave and Tracy Barker's book, Pythons of the World Vol.2: Ball Pythons, they explain that the calico and sugar morphs are often referred to as one and the same.

Under the definition of the "sugar" morph, they have the following:
"There is considerable variation in the amount of white on the sides of sugar balls. Some have just barely noticeable white flecks... while others develop major white areas" (P.65)

So why would you say it doesn't have enough white to be considered a sugar? That drove me up the wall; I hate when people start calling the same morphs different names. I have enough trouble keeping them straight as it is.

I'll get off the soap box now.

    Thanks Ed!

Yeah he's low white, but like you said, that doesn't determine the amount of white the offspring will have. I have had two experienced Calico breeders tell me the same thing.

If I wanted one for display, I would definitely want it to have lots more white, but for breeding he'll be fine and I couldn't afford to pass this guy up, if you get my drift. :O :sweeet:

Wow! It's kinda easy when someone explains it to you! :P The only abbreviation I could think of was WC, and CBB so I was trying to make it match something along those lines.

Anyways, she's a good looking girl, hope she throws a lot of high white calicos for you!! ^_^
