Denver reptile show RMRE
Who is going to be there, and anyone going want to get a meet together? I am driving from wyoming an will probably stay sat. night.
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
I shall certainly be there. :) At the very least to pick up a special order from Willards Rodent Fac.
Thing is, I'm not sure WHEN I'll be there because I have to take the bus and that happens to be the Saturday before finals week. :P
So, I await other people's time suggestions. :)
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
I will probably be there in the AM. Can't buy anything :( but I sure like looking!
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
i was thinking am also. I have a 5 hr drive and plan on being there by 10 or 11.
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
Hmm... 10 or 11 should be doable for me. The bus ride isn't long, but the bus only comes once an hour.
Hope to see some forum folks there! But how are we going to get together or recognize each other? :)

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
We could meet by the front gate or decide what we are going to wear for the day and just go from there.
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
:D I assume now you mean the August show. If so, I will certainly keep an eye open for your booth... although my BF might not want me going since I seem to always bring something home. :P
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
:D I certainly will be there and say HI. I'll be drooling over your selections, for certain, but Ball Pythons are a safe look since I could never afford to actually BUY another one. Bad enough what I spent on my Het Albino pair...and they were a steal!
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE

I'm not entirely sure just yet. In terms of bps.... but I need to cut back a little and see what juvies are ready to go to new homes.
Most likely Orange ghosts & 100% hets, some Pastels, maybe a few other morphs.
I will have corns snakes & King snakes too.... as well as bps!
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
I will definately be there, scott are you going to have any ruppel pastels available?
and super balls what are you thinking of having?
And also think it would be cool to get together and put faces with names

Corns! Oh no! Those are the dangerous snakes to look at since they're more affordable and I'm still wanting to find a breeding size female (since all three of my girls are well under 100g)...
Guess I'll have to be careful, now. :)
And SuperBalls... I have a terrible memory for anything not visual. We've talked? Cool. I should remember once I see you. :D

I won't have any breeder size corns, but some decent sized ones.... no babies yet. :)

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
4 weeks to go.... don't worry, I'll introduce myself. Really looking forward to this show and the Nov one. :)
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
Yup, me too :D
Hmm, maybe you guys can help me with something. I have an interesting situation here:
I have about $200 "extra" right now and three thoughts.
One - through an ad on CL I inquired about an adult breeding pair of Creamsickle corns and the guy wants to rehome them with me. They and the cage (yes, only one ) are being held for $150 until August (after the show JIC).
Two - I asked that they be held until after the show with the thought of trying to find a nice full blooded adult female corn snake there. (since creamsickles are corn/rat hybrids...right?) Haven't had great luck with that in the past, but hey who knows.
Three - Rather than getting more snakes (which would mean having to give up my Anery corn to keep numbers down), I had the idea to use the money on a Herpstat and Ranco. Eventually I'll need another t-stat or two, if only for the future incubator and hatchling racks.
So, what does everyone suggest? Is $150 for a breeding pair of Creamsickles a deal that should not be passed up (as I think it is)? I really would like some input as I'm stuck and not sure which to go with! :)
No matter what, I WILL be at the show! :D

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
Well, I did get a table.... corns, balls and some spotted pythons... come by and say "hey"! :)

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
Ok it is THIS Saturday! Let's get people posting what they'll be wearing or whatever to ID each other. :D
Me, I'll be wearing shorts (it's frickin hot here lately...I thought I left this weather behind three years ago), and my black RMRE Corn snake t-shirt. I might even make a pin with the BP.net logo. It can also be kinda hard to miss me since I tend to wear a large scarf tied in a bow around my ponytail. :) I'm also a rather big girl. ;)
So, can't wait to see you all there!
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
I'll probably be wearing a Tinley T-shirt from last years Tinley event. :)
-
Re: Denver reptile show RMRE

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
I wear mine a lot as well, so it's cool. And mine are the surround type to wear over glasses, so they're kinda noticeable. :)
I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
Im thinkin of a boa pretty much any boa thats not to expensive, maybe a sand or a rtb

Re: Denver reptile show RMRE
That show was seriously cool. :D Not as wide a variety as I'd hoped for, but still some really nice stuff. Sadly, I forgot my camera...so no pictures.
But I did bring someone home. :D This is Aranea, my new FEMALE spider.
In her show box

And I'll probably be getting a nice pastel female from EmpireBallPythons as well...as soon as my financial aid money comes in. :)
And yes, I got to see that sweet cinnamon pastel ringer...VERY nice little girl!
