The playful Sphinx of the North, my own creation. :) Based more off the Eurasian Lynx, but I ended up using Canadian Lynx references too.

Sphlynxes aren't dangerous, unless you really really offend them. They can be very vindictive in those cases, but it's hard to do as they're generally very easy going. But they are clever, playful, and mischievous. They're very fond of puzzles, riddles, and optical illusions. They're also very good listeners, and keepers of secrets.

    Very cute!

Hope Sphlynxes are better at solving a rubix cube than I am. ;)

They're awfully hard on furniture though. ;) And if you can't answer his riddle, he might not let you back into your house.

I'm not sure if he can solve that rubix cube or not or if he's batting it around like a ball of string. He knows how you're supposed to turn it but... such big paws! :P Same problem with tetris. He'd get the top score every time... if only those console buttons were bigger!

Thank you so much you guys! :D I'd never really done a snow scene before either, so it was an interesting challenge and this particular muse has lived in my head a very long time. It was nice to finally put it to paper. I may do more anthropomorphic versions in the future.

In fact, when I saw the movie Amelie my first thought was "OMG, she's a Sphlynx disguised as a human!" ;) If you've seen that movie, the revenge scenes and adorableness of Amelie are oh so very Sphlynxish. She's even got the smile! Plus the whole shy but not shy thing.
