I think she had them, but her Exoskeleton was constricting them, once she shed, she had a full set of wings underneath waiting to be exposed

ohhh! tricky lil devils, those mantids! how cool would it be if my snake suddenly had wings with his next shed? okay... need sleep or something... sorry...
