Anyone still breeding?

I have a 1500g+ female. Is breeding season over?

Ask your Ball pythons;) Is she new?Has she been through QT?

I'm still pairing up and I still have locks.

I agree still have my Axanthic and Pastel paired and getting locks:gj:

With 2 clutches hatched, 8 cooking, and another 20+ girls having ovulated, I will be breeding into July. Everytime I get a clutch I move that girl out and a new girl moves into my breeding room. As long as your temps are close to right and you pay attention to your snakes-- you can pretty much breed year-round. Good Luck!!!

im on my last female but she is still breeding as pof right now. she should ovulate in the next month or so. and then I'll be done.

Lol-it's a LONG season. We've had eight clutches so far, and I've counted 16 additional ovulations and/or pre-lay sheds-but the pewter and caramel albino males are still actively hooking up with their respective females and some other females from other pairings are still building. I expect it will be like last year and there will be sporadic clutches all the way to the fall.....

I'm STILL pairing and seeing locks... its definitely not too late... some breeders go year 'round.

My biggest concern is eating. Both the male and female have been off feed since Jan. They have not lost weight though, and my younger snakes are eating. Maybe it's because of breeding season?

I will put them together and see what happens, wish me luck on albinos!

Im just waiting for my spider to get up to weight, ohhh and I need to find a normal female thats breeding size and ready to go ha.

definitly not to late ive still got another 20 girls to go here that havent even seen a male yet,Should be breeding well into summer here

I don't know about that! Our girls are all nicely sprawled out. The guys just don't seem to know what to do! :mad: We hope to have a solution to that is a little as we just bought a proven breeder male.

I'm still pairing the one set of balls I'm breeding. I'm seeing locks, but I haven't seen an ovulation...maybe I just missed seeing it, but we'll see what happens.

Amen to that Kat...I'm still breeding around 15 females - All have follicles of various sizes...Looks like it'll be another long summer...:gj:

Still pairing, one female is about to lay eggs, one female has huge follicles and should ovulate soon(she's so dark you can't tell if she's glowing or not-granite female), and another female is glowing and has good sized follicles. I'm waiting on two males to get big enough(Spider and Black Pastel), and waiting on another female to be shipped here, get out of quarantine and get bred to my Hypo male(she's a 66% possible het Hypo who is over 2000g).

Wiring the incubator today! :)
