NARBC Tinley

So I've got my room reserved for the NARBC show! :gj:

Last year I made my reservation too late and had to grab a more expensive hotel across the street.

Don't forget if you're planning on going...the rooms at the Holiday fill up fast :)

and i love living 15 minutes away from that! woo hoo!

Do I dare venture to the southside of Chicago?:rolleye2:

This will be the first time I will go there.

I too love being 15 minutes away. Its nice having this in our back yard.:cool:

im just over the border in indiana its not far enough for me to get a room and i usually go both days of the show:banana:

I'm hoping to get down to that show this year :)

Someone....***cough***Kara***cough*** is trying to get me to go this year. We'll have to see. I don't have time off available, but I might be able to fly down Friday and fly back Sunday - anyone want to pick me up at the airport? :rolleyes:

Oh yeah, so can someone give me details on the hotel people stay at? (mutters to self....damn that Kara chick!)

It gives the Wingate rate, what's the Holiday Inn rate?

It was the same when I called ($105). I told her I was with the NARBC reptile group when I made the reservation. I went for the king size bed, I think the price is the same for 2 doubles..I didn't ask.

Theres always plenty of pic's from the Tinley show :gj: If I go I'll be taking some.

Grew up in Tinley Grandma still lives there. I live about 20 min from there. Ill be showing.:D

I am hoping to go this year.
Last year we were new to the reptile show stuff and didnt realize how big and great it was. We went to Michigan instead and I didnt take the map to Chicago with me. Didnt think we was going.
When we got to the Michigan show, it was a joke.

Well, we tried going to Chicago anyway. Didnt find it.
So I drove from Fort Wayne Indiana to Michigan and then to Chicago and back home all in one day. Came home empty handed and so disappointed.
So we went to the NARBC in VA later that year.
Came home with three Ball Pythons and told ourselfs we would go to the Chicago one this year.

I have to work that weekend it is...but might take vacation time.
Too bad when we all go...there wasnt some way we could run into each other and actually know it.

I don't know where the planes land, but we might be able to pick you up. Depends on when you fly in, as we may be setting up the tables.
