    Het Lavender Female Glowing
Here is one of my het Lavender Albino female building and glowing. It is a awesome sight to behold. I love when normal looking snake can look like a ghost!

Nice pic Brock... I have a female that is showing off those green ghost looking colors as well. Normally she's a deep brown color... I almost don't recognize her!

Starmom- In the ball python world a ghost is actually a just hypomelanistic. With other snakes a true ghost is actually an axanthic x hypo or anery x hypo. There are some ball python breeders who are working on the true ghost combo with ball pythons, but I don't believe it has been produced yet.

Understood. I have a hypo female and a couple of het hypo's. I am simply wondering what makes a desert ghost, or desert hypo? Hypo crossed with what? Desert? If so, what's a desert?

Desert Ghost is it's own morph not a cross.

To make it confusing though there is also just a "desert" ball. So I would assume once that get's crossed with a hypo it will be called a "desert ghost", not to be confused with a desert ghost. :D

Yep, I see that. It appears to be a recessive gene that was first produced by Reptile Industries in 2003. Cool looking snake!
