The Toledo Zoo (DUW)

I stopped at the zoo today, since we had some nice weather, and decided to take some pictures. I have around 20-30 total to post, so I'll be posting as I edit. Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

in the second pic, do they have a rattler and a corn snake in the same enclosure???

did you go visit the polar bears it the only part of the toledo zoo i know. My company does maintence on equipment for the bears.

Andrew, your photos as always, are amazing. I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried. Care to teach some of us camera idiots to take pics like that?

Yes they are. They have several, multi-species enclosures. Its actually very awesome to see. They've had most of them established for several years.

wow! i would think that would be stressful on the animals....

but they must know what they are doing

Haha, I'll get the Polar Bears this Monday, Joe :) I did get around to them, but I took around 550+ images, so I fried my batteries in the reptile house, and aquarium before getting to them :P

Ok i will allow you this excuse this time :P.Heck dont feel bad,i went to the Omaha Nebraska zoo awhile back.The only thing that showed up on the grizzly bear was his CLAW :O :tears: :tears:.Ticked me off :taz::taz:

The Polar bears here are normally playing around; especially now since their new enclosure was built with full view.

I'll get pictures of ama....er....the gobies up very soon :8:
