    What's Up With This BRB?
I produced this Female BRB last year...Out of 20 or so she was the only one that looked like this.

She almost looks Anery, but not quite like other proven lines.

I'm going to breed the same pair again this year and see what happens.

The pics aren't the best, BRB's don't like sitting still. LMK what you think of her...

    The day she was born!!!

I thought that at first too, but it doesn't exactly look like proven Hypos either...

Kind of looks a little like both...Maybe it's a True Ghost BRB...lol...I'm not that lucky.

    Thanks!

WOW! She does look hypo. Are you able to track down her grand parents? I mean it is possible that there is a hypo trait floating around in her gene pool some place. Hope you held on to a couple of her litter mates

Good luck! Shes a pretty one

Re: What's Up With This BRB?
Yeah thanks for posting those...I used to work for Brian and have seen them in person...Which is why I said they don't look exactly like other proven Anery's...

I've shown the pics to Brian Sharp and Robert Seib...Both say it looks more Anery than Hypo, but again not quite like the other Anery Proven Lines.

If you look at the crescents they are basically white and have no Orange tint to them like Normal BRB's.

There are a couple line of Anery BRB's that haven't been proven compatible yet...

Check out this pic...Don't know who they belong to though...

Re: What's Up With This BRB?
    Okay, I got a new theory :D

The word of the day is: hypo erythrism. I knew I seen this tossed around before, and messing around in google I figured out how to spell "erythrism"

MW has what it means here: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/erythrism

But wait a moment, this little girl of yours has a reduction of red. I can explain that too... I think :weirdface

If the animal is naturaly erythristic, the animal is red. Just like in a hypomelanistic animal, the animal is not a true albino, it just has a reduction of black, well using the same logic for your little girl, a hypo erythristic would have a reduction in red pigment.

So, kind of like anerythristic, but an anerythristic animal all the red pigment would be gone.

Well, thats my theory :O You would not believe the amount of cut and paste I had to use LOL.

So, I think your animal is hypo alright, but not like what most are used to :)

Does any of this make any sense!?
