Congrats!! I have a question though, what are the main differences between a cinnamon and a normal, just because looking at your new snake I can see features that are identical to my "normal" and was just curious.

I'd like to second Missi's ?? He looks like a great snake, but mostly because he looks so similar in both color and pattern to mine :P
Really though, not trying to sound mean in anyway because really he's beautiful (haha rambling...) and the coloring might have something to do with the lighting in the picture but he looks a lot like a normal; more than most cinnies I've seen I think.
What is the pattern mutation cinnies are supposed to have?

edit: I think my girl maybe doesn't have as many flames as he does? Are flames one of the cinny traits?

Thanks! It's a pattern difference as well as a color difference. It's much easier to tell the differences when they are next to a normal. Of course it does not hurt that when breed together the Super Cinnamon is an all black patternless bp with a white belly...pretty sweet. Here's a link from this site that explains in more detail.

I take no offense at all! He looks quite a bit different in person vs the pics. I always have problems getting pics of all of my snakes that show their true coloring. The flames are pretty nice, I think. I'll try to take some pics soon of my normal, yellowbelly and Cinny so it's easier to see differences.

Thanks! That thread pointing out the features helped. In the past few sheds Little Dude, who is a 200 gram juvenile, has developed a very light brown color all around his neck and head, I think it looks great:) And it just keep getting lighter. He is also getting some blushing between the light spots on his back which I hope will also develop more.

I knew you were not dissing the cinny:) Cinnamon is not a morph you get to see much in person unless you live near a breeder. It can be hard to distinguish them from some others. My Yellowbelly is the same way. There are definite differences that don't just jump out at you like some of the flashier morphs. They are both great for combos and supers though.

    Great looking cinny dude:gj:
I love the flames and floating patterns.

For those who weren't sure, Cinnies have distinct patterns, coloring and head shading, once you see one next to a normal there is no mistaking it, especially as babies. And what they do in combos is amazing.

    Great pick up
