WHAT THE HELL??? please help

okay this is really weird. my snake was in its shedding process its eyes turned blue and everything and its skin was gettin grey. so i left it alone for awhile and i checked on it every few days.. i just took it out 10 minutes ago and it looked like it has its new skin. its eyes are back to normal. BUT THERES NO SKIN IN THE TANK!.. how is this possible? i kept my ball hungry during the shedding process because i wanted to wait until after it shed to feed it.. is it possible that it was so hungry that it ate its own left over skin? this is really tripping me out right now so does any1 know whats going on?

That's totally normal :)

They always get the dull look, go back to normal, and then within 24-48 hours, you have a shed...and normally a big ol poo with it :D

Yes thai s right just make sure your humidity is between 50 and 70 % and you will have a good shed.

ur saying even there skin goes back to normal before they shed? because it seriously looks like a whole new layer of skin all nice n shiny

did you check all over the enclosure for the shed?

It's unlikely they will eat their own shed. I've never heard of such a case.

ya its only a 16 gallon tank i checked everywhere... i mean maybe its not the new skin but it doesnt look all grey like it was a few days ago it looks like its new

Yeah, looks almost brand new, but it still feels kinda dry. If there is some shed, check under the substrate.

It's all good. The dullness and strangeness of the skin, when the eyes are opaque, changes to a brighter skin appearance when their eyes clear. Then they shed...and poo....!

When his eyes get blue thats his pre shed. he will be in that state for a couple days and then do back to normal and a day or two later he should shed.

Perfectly Normal
