    Corns are wiggly worms..

    Either those or Garters/Kings/Milks.

    ALL wiggly worms.

i cant remember the name but there was a snake that ate live small fish and those suckers were always on the move....

i have a corn...if you go over to the tank she comes out but other than that shes in her hide... she will follow you around the tank if you move around which is kinda cool

if you don't irian jaya carpet pythons stay fairly small if you dont over feed them and they are very active as well as semi-arboreal. they are very hardy as well...

It is great that your son like snakes and that you are a great parent who want to motivate your son fascination for snakes.

Always keep in mind that you are going to be the one feeding and cleaning the snake, so make sure you have the time and also that you cant be picky or sorry for what the snake eats.

The corn and king snakes are a little too fast for small children to try and hold. My daughter has to really be ready to pay attention and not loose attention when trying to hold one. She does really well with all of our ball pythons, but has always and will always, untill she is significantly older, be supervised 100% when handling any of them. She likes to drop the mice or rats into the cages when feeding time comes and watch the snakes strike also! She thinks the predator instinct of the snake is really interesting and wants to become a Snake Vet when she is all grown up! :gj: Maybe I could save on Vet bills, then again I'll be paying for an expensive education. :8:
