Congrat man. I got a clutch this morning. I got 2 eggs and 4 slugs. I did not plan to breed this season due to opening a pet store.

on the note of having them burried.. i just made a divit and placed them in there and brushed some hatchrite over them to make sure the ones on top dont get dried...anyinfo if this is ok

Congrats Nick! As far as the top eggs, as long as your ambient humidity is fine (thanks to the hatchrite), they will not dry out. The eggs I just hatched out didn't even make contact with my vermiculite (they were set on a grate which was set on the vermiculite). Really the job of the incubation medium is to keep the humidity inside the egg box where it needs to be, and the eggs can get moisture from the air just fine.

awww I want eggs. My female isnt quite there yet shes only 1100 grams Depending on how she does I may breed her next season.

At-A-Boy....I found my first clutch when I got home from talking to you in Richmond. 6 pearls and 1 slug in the water bowl. My hands were shaking as I was trying to get them in the vermiculite. I couldn't seperate mine either, hope this doesn't hurt anything, will it? Tried to call Adam and couldn't get him, will try again tommorow. Again, congrats on a very good looking clutch.

FATBOY!! whats up and Congrats to you, we were talking about that clutch just hours before LOL. i bet she did wait until 5 Min after you left. was there water in the bowl? i hope some others will chime in and see what they say. there was a thread about them laying in the water bowl but most said it has never happened to them
