That's a really nice rack for the money. That includes heat and tubs? I've seen them on their site, but it's nice to see actual user pic. I think i'm gonna have to get one of these for when my new snakes show up.

Thanks for posting that photo! I got some corn snakes in tubs but was wanting a rack for them and figured with the gap a lot of rack makers put at the top between the tub and the shelf would be enought to let an adult corn snake out. Looks nice and tight from here :)

Edit: Just looked and looks as if they only have the sterilite 1756's which seem to be discontinued

yes it comes w/heat no tubs I ordered my 1756's online from target & then got my 1754's from my local target,no gaps at top everything is top notch see apcages.com.still need to fill it up I could even put my corns back in 15 qt. for more Balls.

Just curious because I need another rack, for an open system rack you would need a really good ambient room temp correct?

does it come with the heat already on the shelves? or do you have to put those on? what kind of heat is it? flexwatt or what? and do they send any foil?

heat is supplied by a heating cable in a groove in the back works real good Helix is set at 96, pythons stay around 88 degrees checked with a temp gun,holds heat good as far as I can see but this is my first rack & its in my sons bedroom so it stays room temp of 75 to 77,cable seems better than heat tape to me!tubs slide right in no tape to stick on or peel up.

I just moved my corns into 41qt sterilites, probably overkill for em though. I ordered a case of the 1756s from target and got slapped with about 20 bucks worth of shipping and tax. The tubs where 45 bucks

Where do you put the thermostat probe if it's just a heat cable?

I'll agree the rack rocks! I have 2 I use for hatchling/juvie racks and they are SWEET, for the money. There is the ambient room temp issue, but here in Cali that's not really an issue.....

Not to mention, the guys at AP rock for customer service!!!

More People Are Going To The Heating Cable Its Safer & Less Chance To Over Heat Easier To Work With It Works Great.
