I'll be there, either picking up my newest ball pythons, or just there without them.

You'll probably see me going back and fourth from the MHS table, and checking out NEARR, maybe we can meet up after, or something to have a few drinks.

    I'm still planning to go.
I like to get there early.
I'll be buying feeders and cypress, and taking pictures for a local news writeup.

feel free to say HI! I'm always happy to meet new people :)

This is me, more or less:
http://i.ugtz.com/albums/Jens-Terrar..._a_2.sized.jpg my hair is really blond (the pic has poor lighting) and goes down to my lower back - it's the most recognizable feature.

oh yeah, the name is Jen. If you want to call me Fishmommy though I'll understand :)

I just got back an hour ago, Very nice show, Worth the 80 minute drive.

I didnt get anything but hornworms, A CHE, and some reptile carpet, but definitally nice to see the stuff upclose, Alot of Kingsnakes, and Boas, Decent amount of balls, but nothing crazy, Too bad no big breeder like NERD was there, I thought they were going to be, but oh well. Saw some nice stuff upclose, I love Albinos now.

Definitally some interesting people watching though.

Anyway, i thought it was good, and will go next time in october, a easy ride, just up the highway the whole time. Maybe next show ill leave with something.

It was a little disappointing this time. No giants really, no NERD, nothing really out of the ordinary for BP morphs. Alot of freaks....as usual though lol. Was nice meeting Josh from J&J and celticscorpiowarrior (sorry I had to jet, my wife was away for the day and I had to pick up my son at a friends). Worth the trip for me (only 15min) would have been a little upset if I drove over an hour though.

    Re: New England Reptile Show....
I agree this time there weren't as many animals and it seemed even more crowded than ever!

There were more adult Chameleons than usual, which is always a treat to see.

The poor lady running the Tortoise Rescue had an animal stolen right off her table  people amaze me, and not in a good way.

It was nice to meet J&J - they had some very nice stuff!

It's never a disappointing show for me, just as long as they have the frozen feeders I need for cheap $$ I always leave with a smile on my face. 6 months supply without having to pay shipping....that's worth the drive to me!

oh, and it was also worth it to see a hog island boa try to remove the face of one of the vendors. there was no blood but it was quite an impressive strike and hiss right at her face.

    Re: New England Reptile Show....
J&J, CV Exotics and the table in the very back had the best BPs (the table in the back had a beautiful hypo g stripe! but 17 large ). I'll still be going every 6 months but it seems every time it gets more crowded and has less of a selection. I had 1 vendor try and sell me a male Het albino that he said was breedable since it was an 06.......it had to be 180g TOPS and was definitely a late 07 not anywhere close to an 06 unless it was a dwarf bp. I had to just laugh and walk away. Hopefully we can get somemore people together next next time. It ended up just being me and Celtic outside for 10 mins smoking a butt.

It was nice to meet you all !!!

One hell of a show too!

Normally it is a decent show, with a lot of breaks, but this year was packed... Bruce (the promoter) said it was the best attendance yet. We didn't even get a chance to check out the other stuff at the show, other than the ghost g-stripe that Fed Kick has was insane!!!

The hard part about the show from a vendor point is this time of year everything is sold so its hard to get a good variety for a show this time of year because everything sells before the shows. The ball market especially is very dry right now, there is just no animals for sale so it makes a shows hard.
We always tend to go overboard just to give everyone stuff to look at, but its worth it.

See you all again this fall!

I went wasn't bad but not what I had expected. As others said there were some very "interesting" people there. I thought I saw a girl elf in a green hat, but it turned out I was wrong. It was a boy elf. Don't ask. I don't know...

As far as variety I got there around noon, but didn't see anything spectacular, and if I had I'd have never been able to afford it at the prices most animals were going for. On the other hand equipment was decently priced, though I was a little disappointed to find no one had any heat tape for sale.

All in all it made for a good Saturday afternoon; animal wise it was a little thin.

what I still can't understand is the people who buy ball pythons early in the day, drape them around their necks and proceed to mill around the show for hours and hours.

snakes are not an accessory! get that poor stressed animal home! Act like you care about it rather than just about looking cool! :taz:

My mom and I went early in the afternoon and I saw at least two people walking around with balls around their necks :(

We just went for some frozen feeders but ended up with a couple things for my leos and some cool plants (for the bathroom, not cages, lol.) It was WAY crowded and we had a hard time seeing anything, but there was some neat stuff none the less :) I was just excited because I thought it was last weekend and that'd I'd missed it! lol

It was awesome meeting you Enve.

Lets put it this way, I was so upset, about the show, being lame that I went home early, luckily I already did a deal with someone before hand, so it was not a total loss, and I got an awesome boa out of the show, as well.

You know, for so many of you who were there, you would imagine that some of y'all would make a meet up, or something.:rage: (jk)

I was there for 3 hours
I don't have a cell phone, so you pretty much have to just walk up to me to say hi :)

The October show has a lot more BP's usually.
I go for the feeders and dry goods and to people-watch.

got to handle that mexican black milksnake - he's always my favorite :)
