Clown is a simple recessive morph, it is not a combo, this is a mutation that naturally occur in the wild it is not created.
You can either buy a clown or buy a pair of Het Clown to breed your own.

well first you have to have a clown or het. clown. then you breed them to a normal, clown, or het clown and the babies will be normal clown or het clown depending on what combination you breed together... thats the simplest way i could thing to say it :D

great clowns guys - do any of you know of anyone with any clowns or expecting any?? Sex is not important. How much would i be looking at - cost wise?
I believe clowns are the only proven gentic black back BP's i could be wrong but i have seen quite a few pics of these guys and they are really just great looking bp's. do a search on yahoo or google and you can see some great specimens.

het red axanthic and red axanthic are genetic black backs also there are various genetic black lines about

They look good as pastel clowns for an example, otherwise.... you either like em or you don't.
