I know they're just two normals, but....

I picked out these two before the weekend from Outback Reptiles, and I'm so glad I decided to go ahead and get them! Rolland was very nice to work with and even though I had a blonde moment or two over my schedule, he got everything set up yesterday and they showed up today warm and happy to be out of the box.
This is my first time with captive hatches, so that part of it is kinda neat to me too.

First up is the girl, and I think she'll make some hot Pastels some day. Oh, and I'm calling her Rose.

Believe me, there will be updates. Especially once they've settled in and I can get some decent shots of them. My background of choice today was my coat. sad.... :P

Forgot to add, the little girl, Rose will look better once I can get some good shots of her. I didn't really get her 'best side' as she didn't care to sit still. But I guess being stuck in a box over night would give me the need to move too. :)

Normals or not they look great! While we don't have a lot of normals in our collection we have a lot of hets. I like looking at our normals and hets and do the gee that normal has the same marking as that het I wonder. ;) It is great to dream about what their babies are and if they have some deeply hidden recessive or something. Also since our biggest girls are normals I love holding them cause you can really feel the power one of these snakes can get as they grab your hand and try to do a little twist or something.

Also according to another thread here on "have you ever sold a possible het as normal" you just never know what a normal may have!

That stripe on the male's back is sick!!

They are both just gorgeous! Nothing "just" about a normal as far as I'm concerned. :)
