And now the waiting game (part 1)
Whew... its one thing making payments on an animal, but its another once you get in that home stretch, which is where I am right now, at least on one purchase. A couple months ago I went on a slight binge and purge, you know, binging on animals only to purge out money
Now, these animals are certainly not cutting edge, and one, a female, I still need to pay off and aim to do that in April, they are still exciting, at least for me :) Both these animals, I have never seen in person, heck, I have never seen a ball python morph on person at all. Only in the photos, so I am a bit stoked, to say the least.
If all goes will, I will get to see my first morph in person in about 8 days from today. Now, I know you all are wondering what the heck I got, well, I am not going to say, at least right now, you all are just going to have to be on pins and needles just as I am, but there will be photos when he gets here. Im sure of that :)
I can't wait :D :snake:

Well, if all goes well, that means I got less then 72 hours to go before I recieve my new little guy. It has been a long while since I last recieved an animal so that means over the next couple days im gonna be bitting my nails.
While I am waiting on the little guy, anyone want to play:
"What the heck am I getting?" :D

And now I have started to become a nervous wreck LOL! The little guy should be in the air by now and on his way to my hands. Just like the last time I got an animal (which I believe was my female albino boa constrictor, its been a while) I don't suspect I will sleep too good tonight. :weirdface

It seems strange to me shipping animals like that. It is talked about so much to keep them in a low stress environment, and then we put them a box and ship them all over the place. I know that I would be stressed if I had to fly!

A long time ago I did a trade and ended up with a 1.1 pair of okeetee corns, they came in DOA due to a shipping screw up, they where sent out 2nd day. They where roasted when they came in. Really sad, they where really nice animals.
Speaking of stress. I ended up with a young burm a few years ago, cant remember how I got him I think he was part of a trade deal, I had no real interest in him. He came in with mites and this was when I was just getting started in all this, but I got them taken care of, no problem. The animal was a bit, well, nuts at least from what I was used to. I could tell he did not like being handled and feeding time he was as most burmese pythons are.... hungry. I did not get bit though, but I knew I did not want this animal because I would hot have space for him. I found a buyer, and got him sent off. When the buyer got him, he opened the bag and was promptly bitten. Guess the burm did not like to fly much either. :snake:
