The other day I was up at NERD and holding a baby tiger retic and it kept striking my hand. Didn't feel a thing, but I finally put him back and realized I was bleeding from about 10 spots. Amazing those things can draw blood and you don't even know you've been bitten.

I have never been bitten, but I think I was 'headbutted' as you describe it the other night while feeding. I was moving one my females from the gram weigher to the feeding container and she just kind of threw herself at my hand. I think it was hind of a closed mouth strike, she could have just been trying to scare me off. She is always a bit overzealous though. My roommate, however, got bitten the other night by our largest girl.

    Congratulations! :D

I've only gotten tagged once, by a young BP (not my own). She got me at the base of the thumb right as I was pulling my hand out of her tank, so she managed to kind of hook on and slice me! There was a loose flap of skin on my hand that was incredibly painful to touch for a couple days. Feisty lil' bugger. :)

I just clip mine's teeth. Fingernail clippers work nicely.

No it's ok he isn't serious.

Though I'd appreciate it if he used J/K or similar as many people miss the smilies.

I have a baby ball pythons named "gargamel" and boy does he fit that name perfectly. Anytime you get him out for a handling, he just strikes into mid air, he doesn't care what he's striking at, he just strikes, and occassionally gets someone... but it doesn't hurt, and he's getting better about doing that. Me and a buddy of mine have been working with him in an attempt to get him to calm down.
