Some things I did with a week off...(D.U Warning)
So I have been sick for the past 2 weeks, I was in the hospital early last week and my doctor did not want me to return to work for a few weeks. Needless to say I felt fine for most of this week, so I took the time off to get some projects done for my rats/snakes.....

    http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...0222/INC-1.jpg

This is my first project, 7 feet of 11" flexwatt, 3 Accurite Therms, a helix, 2 computer fans and BAM...Incubator! (I know the hatchrite has to come out of the bags, I'm just warming it up....)It could hold 4 boxes per shelf, more if I use smaller boxes...

    Next...

12 tub birthing rack for the rats...if I'm gonna have hatchlings, I'm going to have to step up the rat production.....

    Man, I love sick time!

Those are the ARS 10 series tubs. I'm using grey with no cup holder...$8 bucks each...

I'm sorry to hear you were sick. I hope you're feeling better too. Although by the looks of it, it looks like your sick time was time well spent.

Did you leave all that extra room inbetween for future additions to the rat rack?

    Charlie......very very iron-like work!

Love the rat rack, how do you get the wire mesh to be so flat? I just made a pen for my torts, and made a cover with wire mesh and it is soooo wavey!

I spaced the levels 10" apart. I am 6 feet tall, so the pic is looking down at the rack....

I start by putting a staple in the middle, then go one to the left, one to the right and so on, flattening it down as I go....I have a compressor and an air stapler, so that makes it SO much easier....
