    First Clutch of the Season
This female has laid for me three years in a row and she is always the first. She was due on February 24th but decided that today was going to be her day. Lets see if I can hit on the odds with her this year. She got a fresh new clean cage this morning and hopefully will take a rat on Sunday. I still can't believe how skinny they get after they lay eggs. I hope every one's breeding season is going well!

Congrats, looks like a nice way to start the season out.

The first time I saw a female after laying eggs I could not believe how she looked. It was really shocking. I love thier appetite after laying though, a good time to convert mouse feeders back to rats. :P

Thanks everyone. She was bred to a Butter but I might have placed some other males in there also. I think the Butter is going to be the father. Eitherway I am just stoked to have eggs on the ground and cooking.

She laid 7 eggs which is what she laid last year so that is cool! I didn't get any pastelbutters out of her last year but I also didn't get any normals either. Kinda weird huh?

Jason I don't think that the Champagne's were breeding in December when this girl was already at big follicle size I will have to check my records. I have a Citrus Pastel and Super Pastel that they are having their way with so I should hit on that one!

    Thanks everyone!

Congrats Brock! The image is fine, infact you could make it a little larger as it's sitting at 720x482 but just don't go over 800x533.
