New Facility

Should be pouring the basement this week (hopefully), and then we are almost finished! Hopefully in the next couple months I can start moving in some cages!

Are you using just the top floor? How many floors do you have and the aprox sq footage?

Ben, looks fantastic..... If you ever go to sell the place, tell them that it was an arcade and thats the reason for all of the electrical outlets:D

It's two stories, 3500 sq ft all together (1750 sq ft per floor), using both floors. :banana:

I always miss my threads. lol. As far as an update, it's pretty much finished, we're picking up blinds this week and we're good to go! We used to have one that would have been perfect for snakes and it even had a separate room i could have used for rodents.

We are using the basement for some rodents, colubrids, GTPs, and our incubators. It's a little cooler down there so it's been working out well! Sadly I don't think I'll ever be able to produce enough rats, especially the XL and XXL size. :rolleye2:

Yah, the XL and XXL are hard to raise..LOL. IF you just hold back all of your males, they will get to that size though.:D

Seriously...I'm raising rats for our boa and burm...takes bleddin' forever to get a male rat up to @400g...

I must have bought my male at an older age then, because he is around 550gs. Hes a HUGE rat, I will have to get an updated weight on him tomarrow when I clean cages.... its been over a week since I have changed pelleted bedding, and there is NO smell...I love this stuff!!:D
