Apologies
Hey Folks...
I just want to say I'm sorry for being so flaky lately and disappearing for long stretches at a time. We're down to less than two months until my hubby finally comes home...but the pressures of his absence have been building all this time and continue to do so. Life has been piling up on me. :(
I thought maybe some time away from the Internet would help me get caught up on the mountainous to-do list I have...but the mountain keeps growing, so I may as well come back to the place where I at least get some sense of accomplishment and feel like I'm helping people.
I'll post up my pics from the Arlington show and see if I can get a bit caught up on all the goings on around here. I've missed you guys!!!

Re: Apologies
Judy, as much as your presense if always missed around this place, with your husband serving overseas and three young children at home, well I cannot even begin to imagine what your daily life is like. I think you've served this country well yourself in keeping those home fires burning so brightly and I'm as always, honored to call you my friend.
You take whatever time you need and just set your own pace and limits. The next two months will hopefully fly by and soon he'll be home again.

Re: Apologies
Thank you, Jo!!! There's SO much I want to get done before he gets home (including losing about 50 pounds or so... ) that yes, I'm sure the time will fly by...he'll be home before I'm ready, and I'll be thrilled anyhow!

Re: Apologies
Yea i can imagine how you feel, I'm coming home to my wife next week, and then a month later I'll be gone for another year. I remember when I was a kid, my dad would go on 3 month deployments, and my mom would take care of the family. As a 1st generation Korean American, not an easy task. Perhaps more so than the Military members, is the importance of the families. We couldn't do it without y'all.

I was the same way when I was coming home from Iraq. I know it's rough. Hang in there! It's gonna be a wonderful day when he gets home.

Re: Apologies
Big hugs Judy. You are on the downhill slope, so hang in there girl.

Re: Apologies
Judy you don't need to apologize for anything. You and your family come first and then your cyber kids:P
Hope your days are looking brighter and remember everyday is one day closer to the homecoming.
Thanks for all you do for us and what your family has sacrificed for our country:salute:

Re: Apologies
Hey Judy,
Firstly, even a noob like me noticed your absence; you make a difference around here!
Secondly, even a noob like me understood that something must be going on in your life to keep you away, and so sending good thoughts your way was being done!
Lastly, apologies for not being around for a wee bit because real life is happening is nothing to apologize for!
Hugs for you and for your kids and for your brave husband. Happy life!!

It's no problem Judy, we forgive you. :P
But yea, I'm sure these last few months have been a serious drain on you, but what lays awaiting you in two months time will be worth it! Best wishes for you and yours!
