Explain that avatar!

I thought that this would be fun. Explain your avatar! I will start. Mine is a pic of me a few years back at one of my husband (then boyfriend's) shows. He played with his now-defunct band and they actually opened up for the Headstones that night! I found the pic and scanned it into my computer.. I don't look any different now save for hair color changes. My hair is actually the color that you see in the avatar.
So.. from running horse-creatures (Nate?) To serene Buddha (Aleesha..) explain away!

mine changes OFTEN!! i just get bored with the one i see and decide to put a new one up. The one I have now is of myself (Recently) and one of our larger females Arian.. I did selective coloring (not that you can tell its so small) of my eyes and her color... other than that no real explination

Mine was the first pic we took of Dali Hissy-Pants, one of our South Brazilian BCAs upon arriving via FedEx overnight on our doorstep. She was SOOOO mad, but had that happy-opened-face look that cracks me up all the time. Like "Ta-daaaa!"

I joined ball-pythons.net before I actually had a BP (doing research), so I used a personal picture for my avatar. I guess I just figured it would be easier to keep the avatar as it is, since it can often be helpful to people skimming posts for a certain response. I know that I sometimes am able to find specific posts just by recognizing the users avatar. Oh, and the picture is of me playing my harp. :D

Mine is a tree to match my blog. I was going for a spring look... I miss green. :(

Mine is one of my male pastels. I took the pic becasue I was going to sell him. I was planning on selling him becasue I couldn't get him switched to f/t. I decided to start feeding live to all of my ball pythons, so was able to keep him. I am so glad that I did. He turned out to be a great breeder, and my best looking pastel... :cool:

Mine is of one my girls carrying some precious cargo this season!

I chose that one because I love Hoggers and it came in just the right size. When I first came on this site my av. was a picture of my favorite character (which also happens to be my user-name here), but then I thought of using something more site-appropriate.

Mine is Jora, our female pastel. I'm going to change it soon though but it will probably always be one of my fur/scale children

Mine doesn't change because a) I like to let people recognize my posts by my avatar, and b) because the avatar fits my forum name.

Argentra is the name of my half silver dragon/half elf D&D character, and my favorite of the four girls I play currently. Aside from that, the only thing more appropriate for me than a silver dragon would be a pegasus...and I thought the dragon fit better in a reptile oriented forum. :D

Mine is...me! I like my avatar to be my own photo--that way people have an idea of who they're typing at ;) I recently updated it to a photo my friend took at a party in January. Jello shots...in a bowl are featured in the photo--but all you can see is the spoon in the avatar ;) It's a happy spoon.

mine is meant to represent my belief of the theory of evolution and my growing agnostic views. Pretty self explanatory. lol.

Mine is always one of my AfRocks...

I just have such a love and passion for them, I can't get enough of them; whether it be reading about them, seeing others' African Rocks, or otherwise. I miss mine a lot... :(

My avatar changes a lot, sometimes weekly LOL. I have a whole file of avatar pictures that just suit my mood or the season or whatever. Small things amuse me. :D

I got tired of not having a avatar so i resized a picture of Janeothejungle holding my lesser right before i got him:)

Pretty much if i ever change it its going to be my lesser, i just love him so much!
