has a little zoom for the price but takes great pictures. really in that price range anything that is Canon will take great pictures its all in the features you want. Every retail store will have around the same prices and will usually price match if you find it some where cheaper with in like 14 days but you need to ask about that if that is some thing that matters to you.

Fuji Finepix s700.
Its a little over $200 but is an awesome camera. I love mine. I have been using it almost a year and haven't had a single complaint.
You can pretty much find them any where locally. Better deals online too.
Canon SD1000. Nice camera, plus it's one you can fit in your pocket.

Re: Camera HELP
I love my Fuji FinePix S700. It is great for my needs; it can have lenses added onto it. It takes awesome marcos but it is great for landscapes, etc. also. It is very reasonably priced also. If I got something better, it would be much more expensive, and I am not in that tax bracket!

Same camera that I use and love! Aren't they great? Nice big viewing screen.. instant photo-taking as opposed to not really knowing when the shot was taken with some other cameras.
Also, if you take a pic of a candle flame.. or out a window, you get what you see in the pic. Not a big glare. I am not sure how other cameras are in this regard.

I have the SD 1000, I love it. It's ultra compact and about the size of a pack of cigarettes. It takes fantastic pictures for average everyday use.
