Snake Names?!?! post some

I sill haven't named my snake yet, I really want it to be a good name. If anyone has any good ones then lets hear them.

I just got my first snake a day ago, but I ended up naming her Squiggles : )

Probably about as cliche as naming a Dalmation "Spots"...but oh well it makes me happy!

My bp's name is Jabba, coz he's big and fat, and I like Star Wars :)

If/when I get the other bp back, he'll get a Star Wars name, as well.

if it's a female I would name her Winona Ryder.....not sure why, I just would:)

We named ours Monti...get it? Monti...python. LOL!

I named mine Lucille. Not very original. Maybe try out a name like Sparkles Fantastic. If I got a female morph, I would name it Sparkles Fantastic.

my 2 are named Kane and Gilbert

You can look at my signature for the names we are using. My wife and I are both Star Gate fans and the Goa'uld and Tolkra are often referred to as snakes by the main characters. They are extremely intelligent snake like creatures that use hosts and take control of the hosts. So we use names used in the show for the Goa'ulds and Tolkra. It all makes sence, but you need to watch the show to understand it. :rolleye2:

I have only one BP and he's named Auryn--after the double-snake amulet from The Neverending Story!

My oldest is named Ozzy ( my son named him because he like the name Ozzy )
My Lemon Pastel is named Corona ( after the beer )
My Albino is named Edgar ( Edgar Winter the Albino rocker )
My 100%hetalbino is named Janis ( after Joplin )

Rockers and beer seem to be my theme. :banana:

I'm thinking about naming my boa Mobius. Or maybe Sheldon. Who know though....naming takes time.

Well mine is named "Orion" after the Metallica song & or the Star constalation..

I almost named him/her "Loki" for the god of mischief & fire.

"Kitty" was what stuck with the first... It wasn't what I was going to name her, but it's what stuck.

Just start calling him/her random things until one of them sticks, that's how I've always named my pets!

Me and my boyfriend name out snakes because of something that is happening around us, something about them or just the first thing that pops in our head

For example we named our het pied female Cleopatra because she has a lot of gold in her. And we named our female mojo Fairlady because that's how the nissan 350Z is called in Japan and WE ARE Nissan LOVERS! Plus it's unique. my mojo male we named him Bailey because he has a creamy color like Bailey the drink. We named our import "Kinda reduced pattern" boy Simba because he's from Africa. Our import female we named her Nala. One of my females i named her Natasja because of that song Calibria 2007... My male pastel named him Max short for Maxima, once again Nissan lovers plus he's hyper so it goes for him. So thats about it

I named my ball Crouching Tiger because he is beautifully banded, and orange like a tiger.. and he was hungry when I first saw him and snappy! He's not going to go hungry anymore though, I might have to rename him to Hidden Dragon!
My Dumeril's is Quetzelcoatl, the Serpent God in the Aztec belief

I have one named Adalae and used to have one named Harlett (which was just a play on the word Harlot). I didn't name her, but Adalae I DID name and it was just a word that popped into my head. Just like how I named my parrot. His name is Rufio and it fits SO well, I dont know why.

Reminds me of a friend who named their dog Duck and their duck Dog! But they were NOT normal on the outside! LOL

We named our BP Foster, as a constant, daily reminder to my son that if he does not take care of her or if his grades drop, he acts up too bad or doesn't keep his nose clean she will be gone. We told him that he should consider her a foster pet because she could leave at any time depending on his attitude. Make any sense?

My BP is named Mittens, green Iguana named Rabbit, Aftrican Fat Tailed Gecko named Boots. Had a rabbit named Iggy

Mitch the BP has a great ring to it...=D

- Cleo the bp (as in Cleopatra, a nod to the etymology of python regius)
- Carmen the boa (cuz Carmen sounds like carmine, as in red, since she's a red tail and Carmen is a Spanish name and she's a Suriname)
- Jenson the cornsnake (named after the Honda Formula 1 driver Jenson Button; the snake was really slithery and fast when he was little...but not fast enough, like his namesake, to win =P)

And Lourdes the burm, who was named by Alice Cooper and you don't mess with stuff like that. :D

My male pastel bp is named Petey and my female normal bp is called Amira. Just thought they sounded good and fit the snakes well.:)

My bally pythons are Reshmar and Sitka Renenutet.

Renenutet is the Egyptian Snake goddess. I have a odd thing for naming my pets after myths and such.

Other pet names I've used are Orion and Sekhmet Doom.
