100%albino+100%albino

Hey everyone,

ok so i just paid for my female 100% albino to go along with my male 100 % albino i was just wondering if someone could give me the % on each egg is everyone going to be albino or is it only 25% each egg?????:banana::banana:

25% albino
25% normal
50% 100%albino hets

But since you don't know which ones are hets and which are the normals, you just call all of the normal looking offspring 66% possible het albino.

wait ok so i have a 25% chance of just albinos then a %50 chance of albinos 100% het right then 25% normal

Those odds are for each individual baby right? Not the clutch as a whole?

I have seen clutches of Het pied to het peid be all pieds then I have seen them go the other way and be all normals but over all its good odds either way you go

ok so if i breed the albino 100% het, to my spider next breeding season will that give me the albino spider?

No!

You would get Spiders that are 50% het albino and normals that are 50% het albino

You then take your spiders 50% het albino and breed all of the males to an albino female and raise up the females and breed them to a male albino for two seasons and see which are the hets. That would get you Albino Spiders. If the odds are in you favor and your spiders are the hets.

holly crap thats alot of work haha no wonder the price is so high

Yup it takes up to 5-6 years to prove something out :) have fun!

An easier way would be to breed a spider to a visual albino then all your babies are 100% hets, so any spiders from that clutch are spider 100% het albino, then breed two of that type and get your spider albino.

Visual morphs always have a better chance.

As far as your hets go youll have a 25% chance of visual albino, thats per egg not clutch, if you have 8 eggs 2 should be albino, but its random, could have 8 albino's or none, all the rest are 66% het for albino.
