BP.netter Gathering...Arlington, TX -- Feb 23rd

Hey folks!! For everyone that will be attending the NARBC show in Arlington, TX this weekend, there WILL be a BP.net gathering on Saturday for lunch.

We'll meet at 1:00pm in the lobby just outside the main doors that you go through into the show. I'll be wearing my BP.net shirt, which is a white golf shirt with faded BP.net logos (old logos) on it. (Need to get a new shirt! LOL) I'm usually pretty easy to spot. :P Please, please don't be shy about coming up and introducing yourself if I don't know you!! Even if you can't go to lunch with us, I'm always eager and happy to meet my peeps!!

I'm also planning to return for the auction in the evening and hopefully hanging out with other BP.netters, but have nothing specific set up for that.

I'm SO much looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones as well!!! :grouphug:

If I lived in Texas I would be all over that. :rage:

My folks don't live that far away from Arlington, Unfortunately I'm a couple thousand miles away.... One of these days I'm going to have to coordinate a visit to the parents with the weekend that show is on... I hope you all have fun....

P.S. Judy... are any BP.net T-shirts available for sale? I've been searching the site but haven't found any...

PS -- Sorry about the lack of linkage for the BP.net store! It used to be linked to the site, but was not compatible with the upgrade. Then we decided we needed to update the shop as well, but haven't done so yet, so haven't been pomoting it much. That'll be my next major project to tackle, I promise!

Lunch at Chili's was great, the auction was fun.

The only thing I bought was a book that I could have gotten locally. :( I desperately wanted to give Tim and Monica Bailey money that I don't have for the privilege of bringing home one or two of their snakes, but they wouldn't take monopoly money. Maybe I can save up some real cash in the next couple of months!

Damn!!! I wish I would've seen this thread before the show! I was their all day both days all day and had a blast. I would've taken some pics but my camera was broken. I would've loved to have met all you guys.

I wish i still lived in ft worth i would be there for sure....:(

As for Tim and Monica, it was not from a lack of trying, eh Steve?? :D

It was great to meet every one! I'm a bit bummed that I missed lunch, but we ended up sleeping in so we didn't get there until about 2 or so. Dinner was fun, but I was a bit spaced out from being really tired :P

Steve, if anyone there had taken monopoly money, I would have come home with some animals!!! There were some hot snakes there that reallly wanted to go home with me :P
