Finally rounded out my breeding project! (DUW)
For some time, I've been looking for a female for Gwydion, my DH ghost male. I had an idea in my head of what I was looking for, but wasn't really finding it... so I just kept looking.
And I found her this weekend!
Meet Lyonesse, BCI Anery 66% poss het for snow (photo courtesy of Jeremy Clarke of NorCal Reptiles):

Something about her tail grabbed me and wouldn't let me go! Also, if you look about five saddles down her neck, she has a little heart :D (Her name is pronounced Leeonessa... the mythical land of fairy).
Here's her future b/f Gwydion, BCI DH Ghost (crappy photo taken by me): http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...2/000_0986.jpg
And here's my other pair...
Morgaine, BCI Hypo Hogg DH Ghost (photo courtesy of Jo---frankykeno):

And her future consort, Merlin, BCI Anery (photo courtesy of Celia of Exotics by Nature):

Everyone except Gwydion is being held until the weather warms up, lol... Lyonesse is in California, Morgaine is in Ohio, and Merlin is in Louisiana. I can't wait til they all come home!!!
The goal is to improve on the ghost morph... I really want to make some clean, light colored ghosts. It's going to take a couple generations, but I have plans for these four and their babies :D
Also, because it would be a sin to leave her out, here's a cute pic of the Kinkster: http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...2/000_0958.jpg

beautiful pictures (and boas!)!! sounds like you have a good plan too!! good luck
Re: Finally rounded out my breeding project! (DUW)
Thanks Ashley... can't really take credit for the photography, but I appreciate the kudos :)
I can't wait to watch these guys grow!
Jeremy---whom I purchased Lyonesse from---said that she is from Frank Martin's "Monster Anery" line. Her greatgranddam was a 70lbs female! Who knows how big this girl is going to get...

Beautiful! Love the Anerys, I think they're my favourite.
Re: Finally rounded out my breeding project! (DUW)
We love Anerys and Ghosts. I cant wait to see what you do in cleaning them up and improving them.
You have some impressive Boas. Keep the pictures coming as they age.
We have some 100% Het Anerys and some Anerys and clean Hypos that we hope to get some ghosts out of. Gahhhh the wait is killing me. I cant wait for them to grow up. :)
Congratz, it should be an exciting adventure. :salute:

Awesome Lynn! You'll be making beautiful ghosts in no time!
Re: Finally rounded out my breeding project! (DUW)
I'll try to get some pair pics after they arrive... though Lyonesse may have to wait to meet her Gwydion. He'll probably be out of quarantine before they get here, and, if not, I really don't want to have to start him all over.
I'm glad I have a big apartment... I'm going to have kids scattered in every room for a good three to six months ;)

Lyonesse is really smokin. I love the "heart" saddle

Thanks everyone, for the kind words!
I can't wait to see what that lighter orange hogg blood does in the mix. Because the babies will be from two completely different lines, I plan on holding the lightest and cleanest ones back to breed together... like I said, a long term project, but it's going to be interesting to see what happens.
I'll hold a kid back for you Stangs! Just give it three or four years... ;)
