Great pics. Love the plover chicks and the snowy egret. Did you identify that frog?

yeah my proffesor said it was an american tree frog.
and she said that it also looked like a fence lizard. to me it looks kinda like an alligator lizard.

I think the lizard is a Western Sagebrush, often referred to as a fence lizard. It is most assuredly not an alligator lizard.

yeah these were meant for my "field notebook" for my field biology class. we're going back to the islands somewhere in march to see some of the birds nesting and i'll take some pics of those too.
