Gecko talk with Steve Sykes(Reptile Radio)

Wow it’s about time we got some Gecko action going on. I can’t think of a better person to make the Gecko début than Steve Sykes from Geckos Etc. We’ll be checking on how Steve’s breeding season is going along with some husbandry and breeding tips. Morph discussion of course Enigmas, Raptors, Mack Snow, Rainbows, Blizzards, etc etc tune in and see.

Larry, I've got to ask, why do you do the show at midnight? I know that I may be one of the few that listen at 5 in the morning (after waking up, not after just getting in for the night) but midnight?????

Neil, in the beginning it was more of scheduling thing with BT and I but after a few shows it just kinda stuck. Reptile Radio at high noon doesn't fit along with 7 or 9pm it just doesn't feel right.

Midnight has a good feel to it and it just seems to fit. Reptiles are a little out of the ordinary so we like the out of ordinary time as well. We do sacrifice live listeners doing it at this time but it just feels right. Know what I mean?

The show kinda does have a more of a late-night feel to it. Eventually I'm going to catch a show live and when I do I'll call in and say hello.

I'm looking forward to the gecko show. I have a few of them myself. I hope the server encounters no problems as I prefer to listen live. All the shows have been worth listening to so far and this next one will be one of interest to me.

Yeaaahhhh boyeeee!!! Let's get it going for Larry and BT!!! Geckos rock! Shoot, even we have a crestie here in one of the kids bedrooms! (Shocker, I know) .... It's going to be a great show as usual and after a rough week with the flu I can't wait to roll my sleeves up and get back to work answering emails and counting down the hours until Reptile Radio!!!
