Requesting permission to use photos
HELP!
I am looking for some great bp pictures to use on a project for my son. Does anybody have any that they wouldn't mind sharing with me? I need 10 good quality photos for a one time use on a craft project to give to my son as a gift. Is anybody up for it?
I would prefer pics without logos and definately without watermarks. Actually, I could include logos provided that I can add them myself. If you have photos that I can use, and you send me your logo, I can place the logo in the appropriate position so it does not get cut off in the process. Does that make sense?
I need 2 photos that are 4 x 8 and 8 photos that are 4 x 4. Different morphs would be ideal.

PERFECT! That is exactly what I'm looking for; good quality photos and not just simple snapshots. Something more professional looking I guess I should say.
Do you mind if I use that one and do you have more by chance?

Sure, no problem! Hopefully it will turn out the way I'm hoping!
I seen somebody's avatar that had a snake that was coiled in a heart shape. Since I'll be giving this to my son tomorrow for V-Day, does anybody have one like this?
I'm heading off to start on my project right now! Hopefully I'll have it done by morning and I'll post pics then.

Re: Requesting permission to use photos
Is this the one you're thinking of? It's my Echo and was my avatar for awhile until I replaced it with the current picture of Echo.

Re: Requesting permission to use photos
i guess what is learned from this thread is that you do not start a thread like this if you only want 10 pictures, haha:D you take a bunch of people that love there animals and ask for pictures, youre in trouble. by the time this thread end you will have enough pictures to fill an encyclopedia. :D great pictures EVERYONE!!!:gj:

Re: Requesting permission to use photos
Hi, I wasn't around much last night so I hope it isn't too late, but I am happy to share my pics:
Here is the original heat picture before I blacked out the background:

If you need a link to the actual avatar with the blacked out background let me know, though I think it may be too small for your use since it was sized down at that point.
Here are some others, in case you are still looking:

My pastel likes hearts, my cinnamon girls likes cinnamon buns... my snakes are all impressionists.
Hope these help!

Re: Requesting permission to use photos
You guys ROCK! I think I have more than enough photos. I have not gotten the gift done yet (only two more parts to do) but I'm almost there. I'll post a pic when I'm done with it. I could have finished it today but we had to go to the vet and my son opted for me to take my time with it and give it to him when I'm done instead of rushing through it.

Re: Requesting permission to use photos
I'm sorry....I have not posted pics yet. I was almost completely done with it before it fell apart. I have to figure out what I need to do in order for it to hold better.
I take 8 2" sq blocks and 10 photos, 2 of which will be 4" x 8" and 8 of them at 4" x 4". To begin with, the blocks are all seperate and not connected in any way. But, by cutting the photos in certain ways rather it be in quarters, half horizontally or vertically or in three pieces (half vertically and then one strip cut in half, etc.) and then attaching them to the blocks, all 8 blocks become attached together in a way that you can open the group of blocks to reveal different photos. I'm sure that is probably as clear as mud but I can't think of a better way to describe it. Maybe I can take a picture of what I have left of it to give everybody a better idea of how it works. Right now I've got everything packed up, including my camera, so as soon as I'm done remodeling my room and get everything unpacked, I'll take a few pictures of it.
I'm sorry it's taken me this long to get it done. Had it not fallen apart I would have posted pictures already. This is a project that I have to really be in the mood to do and I've not been in the mood to work on it again since.
So....be patient and I'll definately get some pics up of it soon. I think once it's done it will be really cool and I know for a fact that my son is going to love it!
