    New Female (possibly not normal??)
Got this female and something just seemed odd and i finally figured it out.

She is really really light. Like no green pigment?? She looks almost golden but not as yellow as my pastel??

Here are some pics of her, I tried to make a black background with some pillows I have, but I think my efforts kind of failed. I get an A for effort LOL.

Yeah she is in QT at the moment but as soon as she is out I am either going to breed her to my pastel or my Het Pied ball. Most likely my pastel though. He is doing great so far. I have had him locked up with two diferent girls already. :)

How big is she? Based on the pic with your hand, I wouldn't guess that she was near breeding size.

She is currently at 615g I am hoping to get her pounding some small rats to get her weight up. Not sure on her age so I may wait a year on her. I will have to see what her weight is when she gets out of QT.

while she is pretty shes wayyyy off breeding size.. 615 is "ok" for males, certainly not for females and on the same note, i doubt she will be ready for the next season either, most likely year after that (Talking late 09' cooling, eggs in early 2010)

I'm thinking you'd have her up good by next year :) Good luck, she's a pretty one... If her light colouring rubs off she might make some awesome pastels with your male!
