My Family of T's!

Re: My Family of T's!
Wow, some beautiful T's you have there! Gotta love the mexican redknee, and the blue cobalt of course. Not to sound ignorant but in the closeup of the salmon pink what is she eating?
I'm really going to have to get one of these some day :)

Re: My Family of T's!
Stunning! I really like all their habitats too... Sharon is crazy HOT! I heart Red Knees!

Re: My Family of T's!
Sharon and Lilith are gorgeous! I'm not normally a spider person, but they're just stunning :) You've got a lovely brood going on.

Ohhh you're in the UK. Lucky! You can't get locusts in the US... I hear they're great feeders though.
And I think you just convinced me to get a T with those cobalt pics... GORGEOUS animal! I think some people don't realize how beautiful tarants can be cause the ones in the pet stores are so plain looking. I'd love to own a Mexican redknee someday.

Very cool! All of my Lasiodora were incredibly high strung, hair kickers.
If you manage to find some Ceratogyrus, Acanthoscurria, or Pterinochilus...definitely pick up one of these!
Acanthoscurria geniculata
Acanthoscurria chacoana
Ceratogyrus brachycephalus
Ceratogyrus marshalli
Pterinochilus murinus "usumbar phase"
Pterinochilus chordatus
If you can get a hold of one, look for a Grammastola pulchra. Wicked cool, little T. Very docile, and they're completely jet black!:D

I wish I could find some T. blondi. They've been a little scarce lately. A. geniculata are one of my top favorites! Hands down one of the best looking T's! I've never seen a Xenethis immanis before. Know of any sites with pictures or anything? I'll try google'ing it :P
Locusts I haven't seen much of either. You can buy about any type of roach available (good thing!), but I haven't seen many of.

Sorry for the delay... guess I lost track of this thread. Honestly I don't know for sure, but I know that they can devastate crop fields if they get out. But then I wonder why you can get them in the UK? It's unfortunate; I've heard they're a great alternative to crickets.
