    Rosy Boas...Tom and Rosanne
Balls....Indy, Punk, Pisces, Nut, Lucielle, Ethel, Scar, Zipperhead, Stewie, PP (porta potty, cuz he always 'goes' when he's out of the cage), Dee-O-Gee (we actually went to get a DOG and came home with him instead), Candy and Cane (my christmas presents)

    Re: names
We went with an obvious gaff in mind.. to be silly.
Since most of the snakes are transitory since they will be going to homes after quarantine and when the weather gets warmer...
Our first was Lola, cause what Lola wants, Lola gets...
    Then anything associated with balls...
Cannon Ball, Foose Ball, Rugby Ball, Musket Ball, Lucille Ball, Lucky 8 Ball, Brass Ball, and Nigel- which is an odd name but he came with it and we like it.
Then there is Happy Fun Ball- a photo of a ball, or a bouncing red ball that was used as a prop on Saturday night live in its hey day. They had a "warning" - 'Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball' and some one would and it would explode or something...
So we have a ball python named Happy Fun Ball...
We will have a Soccer, Base, Basket, Foot...

So you can go with a theme, like we did.. its corny but fun too.

We named ours Foster. As a reminder to my son that if he does not take care of her, she would go to a new home. I told him to consider himself just a foster parent so to speak. It's goofy but hey....whatever works.

Most of my animals have names.

Some of them have descriptions, but most have name names.

Problem is, after you get past a certain point, numbers and descriptions just seem to work better/easier.

    Re: names
yes i name my snakes, when i breed i won't be naming ones I'm planning to sell. hold backs get snazzy names and coffee mugs etc.

my first snake a male normal is named Sotek (from a game, its a giant serpent god that was fortold would come and rid the world of rat dudes... NERD yeah... but i thought it fitting)

my first normal female is named Mila after Milla Jovovich ( <3 etc.)

my Pastel female is Jessica (after jessica rabbit! <3 hot animated chick)

my spider is Faerlina (rep reward to whoever figures out where i came up with that name!)

and my last normal female is pretty labyrinthish so i named her Ophilia (pans labyrinth movie, the little girl)

and somehow all my females got a name ending in "A" go figure

    Re: names
I have 'official' names for my three snakes, but they also have their own nick names too. There is my normal female 'Isis' a.k.a. turtle(since that's what we could have in the dorms) ,my pastel male 'Apollo' a.k.a. little man, and my spider female 'Savannah' a.k.a. little girl. Kinda un-original, but that's what they were all called before I offically named them, and they stuck with me and my friends, lol.

    Re: names
Some of mine have names. Only those who I came up with worthy names, the rest of them are still waiting for a suitable name.

    Here are some of mine:
Freya the piebald bp, named after the nordic goddess of fertility and love.
Pötkö the het pied bp, loosely translated it means stick. :D
Masu the gargoyle gecko, loosely translated it means tummy. Named while hanging in the front glass of his tank. :)
Luna the lavender corn snake. For the color.

And then there's Skaana, Helmut, Lutku, Devil, Pulla, etc...

I'll have a fire female within the next year, she'll be named Bindi after Steve Irwins daughter. And I'm so gonna name someone squeezer after fishmommy's Augustus! :D

    Re: names
My BP's name is Jabba, after (you guessed it) Jabba the Hutt from Return of the Jedi.

My kids and I are big Star Wars geeks :) Other names in the running were "Jango", "Obi-Wan" and "Qui-Gonn". My wife said that if we were to ever get a boa, we'd have to name it Boaba (like Boba Fett).

Ours are all named -- my boys are the ones that generally choose their name and their names often get changed. Mostly they are named after cartoon characters - we have Ed, Edd and Eddy, Lazlo, Bloo, Coco, Jasmine, Aladdin, Cinderella, Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlotte, Buttercup, Bubbles and Blossom, JoJo and Skeebo, Wilma, Betty, Pebbles, Anakin, Luke, Leia, Jar-Jar, Yoda, Mrs. Yoda, Harry, Fluffy, Hagrid, Nearly Headless Nick - etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. .....:rolleye2:

Someone watches alot of Cartoon Network!!!!! (Hey, it's on here all the time, too! :teevee:) Anyway, obviously, my ball is Aiden, and the Burm is Kitana. All the critters have names, as you can see in the siggy...

Lieutenant Dan is my Beardie...he is missing two of his legs, so thought the name fit him.
