My mojave.. finally got some pics

Shes still with her breeder but i got some new pics of her today. the only other pic i had was from my camera phone.

so without further ado. She needs a name, suggestions are welcome :D Friday just wont come fast enough i swear!!

I'm sure you've posted somewhere before, but what camera do you shoot with? Any lenses of choice?

Its alright lol.. I use a canon rebel XTi. For all of my closer pics (not wildlife from afar) I use the "kit lens" 18-5mm. I love my camera. Learning how to use it with only manual settings has been the best thing ever! I have lots of other photos of the snakes we have on my myspace www.myspace.com/dnareptiles. We dont post snake pics on my website www.abcaptures.com because we have quite a few family members who are deathly afraid of snakes. But if you want to see more of the shots ive done those are the two places they are public.

The pics I posted were really just open the drawer-snap-flip her over-snap-lift her up for face shot and leave her alone lol.. i hate how much they washed out her color! She has SOOOO much blushing it isnt even funny

Thanks for the info, I'm thinking my tax return will go towards a new camera, I have a point n shoot digital...but would like something with a bit more option for the manual modes.

I have a really nice nikon SLR film camera that I play with, so maybe I'll jump on the DSLR wagon. Gotta do my snakes justice in photos!:D

it was worth every penny! I love my camera, one of the best investments ive ever made. I started with a canon SLR, the difference with the DSLR is amazing. The pics in your gallery are pretty good!! definetly have some hot animals

Thanks for the comments! I LOVE working with these animals, and I'm waiting on a few new ones myself (mojave included) so I know how you feel! But...you're in tropical weather...and we're 14F and snow.

yall can keep the cold!!! I think were in the 80s today, beautiful! Although come summer we will be miserable!

:) thank you! Im hoping my TR comes in tomorrow like its supposed to.. if so off to pick her up we will go! I cant wait!!!! Today isnt going fast enough. Cross your fingers and pray my tax return gets deposited tomorrow like it says its supposed to :gj: Then it will kill me waiting for 11am until the shop opens lol
