VIDEO: 8 Ball Pythons - Shedding Lessons

With the dry winter air in many of our homes this time of year, I thought that this video would be helpful. If you're having problems with stuck sheds, you're not alone ... I made a video showing how we deal with the stuck sheds we get around the shop.

Nice Vid adam! I only have one concern, why don't we hear your voice in any of your videos? It's a very nice voice. (sort of) maybe you could give us a little narration or play by play next time.

You know what, scratch that.....i know how you get when you start talking about balls! Youtube can't have 50min clips! :sweeet:

I can't stand the sound of my own voice!!! ... I haven't even gone back and listened to myself on Reptile Radio yet (BTW, ROCK THAT JOINT OUT TOMORROW NIGHT AT 11:59PM http://www.blogtalkradio.com/reptileradio) ... I'm going to hire you Tyree to do voice over work for me!!!! ;)

I'm just a normal person like everyone else, and certainly not immune to the occasional stuck shed or twenty ... especially in the winter. :P ;)

I've used that technique before. it is unbelievable how easy the shed comes off after an hour in a bath. Thanks for sharing :gj:

I had to do that with one of my big girls last night. The shed stuck just behind her neck and she took a good bite out of me for messing around her head. The sorry thing about it was, a few seconds later she took another bite just in case I didn't get the message the first time. On the other hand, maybe it's just because I am so sweet.

You should narrate your videos. The first thing you should do in each video is say your last name 10 times. You definitely have the best last name in the business.

Thanks! ... Feeding day is going to be a lot of fun ... I've got about 100 short clips of some really cool mutations munchin down rats and mice ... I'll probably get another 100 or so when I feed this coming week and then get to work!

Palpating is going to be a little longer ... I can feel some follicles, but they need to be a little bigger so that you can see my fingers "blip" over them as I go down the snake.

I love the 8ball videos...The editing (post production) really makes a big difference over just raw footage. (and that is my Professional opinion seeing that post production is my life)...lol
