New BP coming!

Well here he is, Torin (it means "the chief") who will be on his way to us if the weather ever co-operates. Right now we are having VERY unstable weather here in Toledo but Torin's happy and healthy tucked into his tub at 8BallPythons.

Torin in an 07 100% Het Pied male ball python and the beginnings of our dream to one day hatch our own lovely pied. Many thanks to Adam and to Lynn Whipple for helping this dream come true. :)

Weather here has been nuts! This week alone we've had...

Monday morning - 8 degrees

Monday afternoon - 42 degrees

Monday by 6 p.m. - rain

Tuesday - high 40's all day, all our snow melted away

Wednesday -15 to -20 or more with windchill (so bitter cold they closed the schools)

Thursday (today) - it's nice right now, they are calling for freezing rain later tonight though and 4 to 8 inches of snow by morning, there's talk of another school closure tomorrow!

Mother Nature is having some major PMS! :rolleyes:

the breeder that i am getting my female pastel from is in ohio where you are and i am in oklahoma. its snowing here now and it was 70 on tuesday and it will be 17 in the morning. so it could be worse. :D

:rofl: you made me laugh so hard I cried. try that and then add minimal to no heat in your car cause you can't figure out whats wrong with the car. Nothing like driving around in a tomb on wheels, your breath frosting the inside of the windows. then to hear a two year old go.. Mommy.. its cold, I need blanket! and he's bundled like an eskimo. small favor the baby can't talk yet or she'd be telling me the same thing.

as for the snake.. nice pickup. I too am waiting for my het pied pair from Adam. I cannot wait. :D I love how reduced he is, and I like the name. I've got mine already named as well.

OMG too funny and oh so true. If you don't like the weather here in Ohio, stick around 5 minutes. It WILL change.
Congrats Jo, it is always exciting to get a new snakie, but getting one from Adam is even more exciting. I should be getting a package from him in the not too distant future.

Oh I've always loved the winter (NOT). You spend 20 minutes wrestling your darling children into full winter wear, you just about fall over yourself from exhaustion, stuff yourself into your own winter gear (ignoring the fact that you're now sweating madly and will likely freeze half to death), drag the little darlings out for some "fun and healthy winter activities". Less than 10 minutes later - one has to pee, one now HATES snow and everyone wants to go in and watch cartoons. Lordy!
